Child Theme Configurator is first plugin I found. It boasts with largest number of active installations.
- When I first opened the admin dashboard I couldn’t find any plugin “Settings” menu. Short Youtube video tutorial, I was back on high horse: plugin menu is located in: Tools / Child themes menu.
- Next I tried creating a new child theme:
This was multi-step process. Which was mostly very straightforward.
In the second step I had to choose a parent theme and click “Analyze”.
It said, that my parent theme is OK.
This was followed by naming the child theme folder (I used the suggested text):
